Open Water Diver

Get certified. Dive anywhere in the world.

A female diver glides over a reef during her PADI Open Water Diver course with Underwater.ee in Estonia

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world's most recognised scuba certification. Once you have it, you can dive to 18 metres at any dive site, anywhere in the world, for life.
The course runs in three parts. First, the theory, which you complete online at your own pace through the PADI eLearning platform before we even meet. Second, confined water sessions in the pool where you learn and practise the skills. Third, four open water dives over two days where you put it all together in real conditions.
We keep our groups small so you actually get proper attention, not just a briefing and a buddy.
The full course is 490 € and includes your PADI eLearning materials, all equipment, pool sessions and both open water dive days. If you've already done a Discover Scuba Diving session with us, we take that off the price.
Not ready to pay it all at once? No problem, you can split it into two payments of 245 €.

What you'll need: to be at least 10 years old, comfortable in the water, and medically fit to dive. That's it.

How long does it take: most students finish within a weekend for the dives, plus a few evenings on the theory beforehand.
