Rescue Diver

Learn to prevent problems and handle them calmly in the water.

Two divers float at the surface beside a lifebuoy during a PADI Rescue Diver course with Underwater.ee in Estonia

The PADI Rescue Diver course is often the one that changes how people dive. You stop thinking only about yourself and start noticing what’s happening around you, how to prevent problems early, and what to do if something goes wrong.

This course is practical, hands-on, and seriously useful. You’ll learn how to recognise stress in other divers, respond to common in-water problems, manage tired or panicked divers, and handle rescue scenarios at the surface and underwater. It’s challenging in a good way, and by the end of it, most divers feel much more confident and aware.

We keep the training realistic and supportive. There’s plenty to learn, but you’re not expected to get everything perfect straight away. We go through each exercise properly so you understand what you’re doing and why it matters.

The Rescue Diver course is 450 €.

To join, you need to be an Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent and have a valid EFR certificate. If you don’t have one yet, we can provide the EFR course and certification for 90 €.

Rescue Diver is a big step forward for any diver. It builds confidence, improves awareness, and makes you a much better buddy in the water.
